In a week that’s already seen one exclusive premier on HipHopDX [click to read] in Black Milk‘s ELEC, we are proud to announce and offer another one.
Rosco P Coldchain was 2003’s emcee to watch. The North Philadelphia street rapper was signed to Pharrell, working with DJ Premier, and seemed to know just as much about how to rock a microphone as he did how to program a digital scale. After label woes, incarceration and a host of other roadblocks, ‘Sco is sounding sharper than ever, and more anticipated than he was when he had major labels pushing him.
Rosco P Coldchain spoke to HipHopDX earlier in the week, after deciding to premier his first public work, There Will Be Blood, on DX, the Philadelphia Star Trak emcee said, “Here’s the prognosis my people. Today is the day most of you have been anticipating. The return Of Coldchain.” The mixtape features an appearance from Mobb Deep‘s Havoc.

the public. As I told Tigger on Rap Citybefore I went to prison, I’m
the most anticipated nigga since God! And I still feel that way. As I
should. If you love it, great. Merry Christmas, happy Kwanzaa, happy birthday and all that good shit.
If you don’t, kill yourself. All the cool kids doing it,” said an exuberant Rosco P this week.
