Pitbull is coming back. After his original label, TVT, filed for bankruptcy, the fiery rapper will be releasing his new material through The Orchard. Fellow former TVT artist Lil John joins Pitbull for the single “Crazy.” An as-yet untitled album will follow in the fall. The increased distribution from The Orchard, who also handles Immortal Technique, Gza/Genius and Ras Kass, should eliminate the availability and promotional issues surrounding Pitbull‘s previous releases. In the meantime, Pitbull can be found on tour (dates available via his MySpace page), and on his reality humor series Pitbull’s La Esquina, which airs on mun2.
Those tired of T-Pain and his Auto-Tune vocals could be in for a long fall season. Having already placed his lead single “Can’t Believe It” on Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart, the “Rapper Ternt Sanga” is gearing up for the release of his third album, Thr33 Ringz. Jive has not given an official release date, but past collaborators DJ Khaled, Ludacris, Kanye West and Chris Brown are all expected to make appearances.
