Gnarls Barkley is preparing to shoot a video for “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul,” which will be the second single from the sophomore effort The Odd Couple. Meanwhile, as the edited version of their first single, “Run” continues to play on the American edition of MTV, the video is still currently banned from MTV UK for the same issue that initially caused it to be delayed stateside.

The clip continues to fail the Harding Test. The test was devised to prevent episodes of photosensitive epilepsy which occur when flickering images or patterns appear at a frequency ranging between 25 and 50 hertz (cycles per second). Since the initial domestic ban of the video, Gnarls Barkley has made some minor edits to the video.

“It seemed justifiable to hesitate a bit to make sure it didn’t result in something severe,”Cee-Lo tells The Hollywood Reporter. “We just focused on any compromise we could come to. We didn’t get too agitated — we just concentrated our focus on how we could resolve the problem.”

Gnarls Barkley is currently preparing for a summer tour that will include both U.S. and European dates. The group will also be performing on Saturday Night Live April 12. The Odd Couple will be officially released on April 8, via Downtown/Atlantic Records.
