After seeing his past projects shelved due to complications with various record labels, Atlanta’s Killer Mike promises to release no less than two albums in 2008. Following an exclusive download of his Ghetto Extraordinary album with HipHopDX in January [click HERE if you missed it], Killer Mike tells Tom Breihan of the Village Voice [full article available HERE] that he’s looking give fans two sequels to “I Pledge Allegiance to The Grind,” as well as a full album entitled 16 in the Kitchen.

“I’ma probably put out Pledge 2 and 3 this year,” says Killer Mike. “I want to get the one out in April, and I want to be coming back around in September or October.”Mike also added that he’s enlisted some A-list production while taking cues from the likes of Tony Draper, Jason Geter and Chaka Zulu to make sure his Grind Time Official imprint is successful.

“Pledge 2 is gonna be a great fucking record,”Killer Mike says of his upcoming album. “Pledge 3 is gonna be a greater fucking record. The greatest record, I think, is coming in 16 in the Kitchen. That record is going to be produced and executive produced and looked over by No I.D., L-Rock, DJ Toomp and Hip-Hop on the side.”
