Nepali rapper 5:55 shares the aptly titled “Psychedelic Rap,” produced by ThatKidGoran. The rapper has been outspoken about his love of weed and has since been raising awareness on its long history in Nepali culture.
The track calls for the legalization of marijuana in Nepal, with the Rooster-directed video showing news headlines that support the legalization.
The video also featured signs bearing cannabis sale at “government-authorized” shops and “the hippie trail” (also known as the overland) of the 1950s to 1970s which became a form of low-cost alternative tourism for countries that connected Europe and South Asia, including Nepal.
