In a bizarre twist to the Michael Vick dog fighting case, a reality television show is in the works about the infamous canines that made Bad Newz Kennels go round. Reports have surfaced that National Geographic will follow the rehabilitation efforts of four of the dogs seized at Vick’s former property. The show, titled Dogtown is currently in production in Utah at Dogtown, the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. Episodes will begin airing this summer.
Foxy Brown’s hopes for an early released were dashed after a New York judge denied her request to deal with her hearing problems at a facility in California. Brown—who has been in the news more for her medical and legal issues than her music—says her hearing has worsened since she began serving her one year sentence. She petitioned for an early release on the grounds that she will suffer permanent damage if her implant is not reprogrammed and repaired at The House Clinic in Los Angeles, according to an EUR Web report. Foxy is serving a one year sentence for a probation violation stemming from an assault on two manicurist.
