The 2008 edition of Sha Money XL’s One Stop Shop Producer’s Conference will take place on March 8 – 9 in Phoenix, Az. In addition to offering technology seminars, battles and networking opportunities for up and coming artists, this year’s conference will also honor Swizz Beatz and DJ Toomp.
“The future of the One Stop Shop is growth,” says Sha Money XL. “I want to continue to let new producers find their way through this industry and learn just who the key players are and what networking is about. It is so important to brand yourself in today’s environment. You have producers dropping LPs like artists now.”
While the event will enjoy a bevy of corporate sponsors, many artists are also scheduled to attend, including Talib Kweli, Young Buck and Lil Scrappy. Members of Microsoft’s XBOX team will be on hand for a technology panel and former LAPD Chief of Police Bernard Parks will lead a Power Management Panel.
Multi-platinum producer and former G-Unit President Sha Money XL (born Michael Clervoix) founded Money Management Group in 2002 as an artist management and production company. Along with G-Unit artists Lloyd Banks and Young Buck, Hi-Tek and DJ Whoo Kid are also listed as clients.
