H3 Enterprises, Inc. will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony today in Tampa, FL. to celebrate the launch of its first HipHopSodaShop franchise. The healthy, Hip Hop themed eatery also features a recording studio and is part of a three-tiered campaign which includes an online video game league and a merchandizing line. Busta Rhymes, Cassidy, Doug E. Fresh, Andre Harrell and other artists have confirmed appearances to lend support to the company.
“H3 Enterprises is proud of the fact that we have reached a major milestone today,” says H3 CEO and president Benjamin Chavis. “The opening of the HipHopSodaShop is a landmark event for the culture of Hip-Hop. It is also a new global business model that we intend to replicate not only in the major cities across America, but also in the major market places throughout the world.”

H3 Enterprises was founded by Brian “H3” Peters and Jamar “J-Nice” McNeil, and became publicly traded in 2005. Artists associated with H3 are given franchise opportunities and can sell licensed merchandise within their own SodaShops. At press time, Juelz Santana of The Diplomats is the only known artist to have a merchandise deal with H3. The company has also created partnerships with Visa, Microsoft and Meridian Beverage Inc. and its stock sells for $.20 per share.
