Lil’ Kim has kept a relatively low profile since being released from the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center last July. But, according to Kim that is about to change as she prepares a mixtape and an album, which she hopes to release in February of 2008.

“I did this for my fans,”Kim told MTV. “It’s been a year and a half since I been home from jail; I felt I owed them something. Although Kimberly Jones was getting her business straight and Kimberly Jones was getting herself straight, my music was my love.”

Kim’s return finds her reuniting with Lance “Un” Rivera as her manager. Rivera will share managing duties since Kim has also enlisted the services of Queen Latifah and Flavor Unit Management. Kim is said to be channeling 50 Cent, The Lady of Rage and Britney Spears on her new effort, entitled “Ms. G.O.A.T.” For additional news on Kim’s comeback, her future with Atlantic Records and her beef with Remy Ma, no stranger to legal trouble herself, click HERE.
