Conway The Machine is looking to build his own conglomerate in addition to his thriving solo career and as a member of the Griselda crew. On Wednesday (January 27), the Buffalo-bred rapper took to Instagram to announce that Jae Skeese is the first signing to his own label, Drumwork Music Group.

“I’m happy to announce the ink is dry!!” he revealed. “It’s official!! The first artist signed to @drumworkmusic CONGRATULATIONS KING @jaeskeese this is just the beginning the REAL work begins NOW!! I believed in u from the start and I know when it’s all said and done u gon be in that top 5 convo… it’s up!!!”

Fellow Buffalo native Skeese posted a message with the same photo alongside Conway, calling it the moment he’s “always prayed for.”

Those who listened to the deluxe version of Conway The Machine’s From King to a GOD album will have heard the rapper on songs “Stefon Diggs” and “Crack in the Nineties.” Jae Skeese also released his own project titled Asphalt Calligraphy in September.

Despite inking a deal with Skeese, Conway isn’t slowing down with his solo output. The Griselda rapper announced on Tuesday (January 26) that he’ll be dropping a new album in February that isn’t his Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes.
