It has been nearly 5 years since Freeway‘s debut Philadelphia Freeway, but the Roc-a-Fella emcee is ready to return with Free At Last on November 20th. The album, which will include executive production credits for both Jay-Z and 50 Cent, features an impressive line up of guests.
Among those who are appearing with the Philly native are Jay-Z (Roc-a-Fella Billionaires, which leaked this summer), Scarface, Too $hort, Lil’ Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Paul Wall and Rick Ross.
On the production front, Dame Grease, J.R. Rotem, Don Cannon and Cool & Dre hold things down. No word as to why Just Blaze – who produced 10 of the 16 songs on his first LP – didn’t produce any songs this time around. As for the album, Free has high hopes:
“The album is soulful. I think it’s gonna be another classic,” Freeway
told Billboard. “I didn’t fall into what people thought I was
going to do or what everyone else is doing. If you’re a fan, you’ll
love it.”
