Prepare for a Black Star reunion…if you’re going to be in the Bay Area next month, that is. Their hectic schedules have prevented them from recording a full-length LP together since their self-titled debut in 1998, but Talib Kweli and Mos Def will join forces Saturday, November 3. Kweli and Mos will perform together on the center stage at Esurance Icer Air during the big-air competition.
“We are thrilled to have Mos Def and Talib Kweli on board as our headliners this year,” said Icer Founder and President Glen Griffin. “They are incredibly talented performers who evoke the free-spirited, urban authenticity of Icer Air.”
Did we mention there would be a beer garden on site? Esurance Icer Air will be held at San Francisco’s AT&T Park November 2-3. Tickets for the extreme sports festival range from $10-$28 and are available at Icer’s official site, HERE.
