MTV reports that chart-topper and vocoder king T-Pain will be featured on a duet with Oscar Award Winner Jennifer Hudson. While the pairing seems like quite the odd couple, T-Pain seems very excited about the possibilities.
“This is going to be my first duet, ever,” said T-Pain. “[The song is] untitled now, but it’s basically about what’s wrong with us.”
While Queen Latifah also has an Oscar nomination, as well as nominations from the Emmy and Tony Awards, she says she would be open to the possibility of another Hip-Hop album.
“I’d love to make another rap album,”Latifah tells billboard.com. “I have some music I’ve already been working on. But everything has to have its proper place; I don’t really want to drop the rap album while [Trav’lin Light] is out.”Latifah is currently touring and no official dates have been set for a Hip-Hop album, which would be her first since 1998’s Order in the Court.
