The expected whirlwind promotional tour for Graduation, will apparently begin at Borders Bookstores. Kanye West and his mother Donda will make a public appearance at the Michigan Avenue location of Borders in Chicago on Saturday, August 25. The mother and son tandem will promote Raising Kanye: Life Lessons From the Mother of a Hip-Hop Superstar. In addition to her work as an author, Ms. West serves as Chief Executive Officer of Super Good, the parent company of Kanye West Enterprises. The Michigan Avenue Borders is located at 830 N. Keyshia Cole has been added to the list of performers for the “NFL’s Opening Kickoff 2007”. Cole will be joined joined by Ft. Wayne Indiana’s Voices of Unity Youth Choir at the RCA Dome on September 6. Unlike last year’s kickoff celebration, which featured Kanye West, Diddy and Yung Joc, the 2007 edition will be rather light on any urban music. In addition to Cole, the lineup features John Mellencamp, Faith Hill, Kelly Clarkson and Hinder. Keyshia Cole’s sophomore album Just Like You hits stores September 25.
