Hip-Hop fans living in or visiting Canada can check for the Red Bull Music Academy sponsored show featuring Black Milk. The show will take place July 25 at Revival, located at 783 College St., and tickets are only $10. Black Milk garnered critical acclaim with his album “Popular Demand,” and his production work has been featured on Slum Village’s albums.

For those that prefer their live shows below the Mason-Dixon Line, the fifth annual CrunkFest will take place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis Tennessee on July 21. Scheduled performers include Lil’ Boosie, 8Ball & MJG, Kia Shine, DJ Unk and more. Tickets can be purchased directly at the FedEx Forum or online through Ticketmaster. Finally, for fans whose budgets don’t allow for travel or concerts, new releases from Oakland’s Kafani, Philadelphia’s Hezekiah, and North Carolina’s Median are on the way.

Kashmere member Kafani is set to release his solo album on Koch, entitled Money’s My Motivation. The album drops on August 28, and features the Hyphy collaboration with Keak Da Sneak“Fast (Like A Nascar).”

Beat Society member Hezekiah returns with his sophomore LP, I Predict A Riot on September 18. The Rawkus/Soulspazm release will feature guest appearances from Freeway, Bilal and Jaguar Wright among others.

Little Brother fans should remember Median making his debut on The Listening’s“Shorty On The Lookout.” The Justus League member makes his solo debut with Median’s Relief on September 25. The album will be released on Halftooth Records with a bulk of the production handled by 9th Wonder and Nicolay.
