Lil Baby earned 2 Chainz’s gratitude after helping out the T.R.U. rapper in a major way. The MC formerly known as Tity Boi publicly thanked his fellow ATLien for rescuing his hard drive, which presumably contains plenty of unreleased music.
“I wanna take to the time to salute and acknowledge @lilbaby_1 a real street general,” 2 Chainz wrote via Instagram. “Bru was able to get the hard drive back for me and @sb_skooly and I appreciate that 1thousand !!!”
The recovery of 2 Chainz’s hard drive isn’t the first time Lil Baby has found a way to reclaim such a prized possession. Last year, the Quality Control Music artist was able to track down two stolen hard drives after his label’s CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas offered a $20,000 reward for their safe return.
“Hard Drives Secured,” Thomas wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Thank You @lilbaby_1. Nuthin 2 Prove Album On The Way @lilyachty.”
2 Chainz and Lil Baby are no strangers as the two have collaborated in the past. Last year, the two teamed up with Gucci Mane on a track titled “Anyway,” which appeared on Lil Baby’s Street Gossip album.
