A$AP Rocky Faces Up To Two Years In Swedish Prison
On Thursday (July 25), A$AP Rocky and two members of his entourage were charged with assault by Swedish prosecutors.

The 30-year-old rapper, born Rakim Mayers, faces up to two years for an alleged attack near Hötorget, a city square in central Stockholm. Rocky insists his reaction to the man following him and his crew on the streets was self-defense.
According to TMZ, the prosecutor Daniel Suneson likely won’t recommend the full two-year sentence.
Rocky’s trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday (July 30).

Max B Announces Prison Reduction
Max B is coming home sooner than expected thanks to a reduction in his prison sentence.
In 2009, Max was sentenced to 75 years behind bars. But the Wave God has confirmed he’ll only have to serve 12 years.
“They gave me 75, got it chopped to a 20 then got it down to a dozen,” he captioned an Instagram post this week. “nigga I’m good with the money. #SUPERBAD.”

Future’s Bodygaurd Gets Knocked Out
Future’s bodyguard landed face down on the pavement after being knocked out during a confrontation at the Ibiza Airport in Spain. After footage of the incident began to spread across social media, Future took to Instagram to explain what really went down.

“Basically these fake goons ask to suck my dick for a picture I toldem NOOOO…apparently they get angry and do sum sucker shit,” he wrote. “I left the airport, they edit the video they filmed and sent it to blogs real real tuf guys …what they did to security I didn’t see period, I’m not a witness to anything…leave me out anything have to do with this incident.”

Snoop Dogg Reflects On Writing Daz Dillinger’s Verse For “Deeez Nuuuts”
While Snoop Dogg was recording The Chronic with Dr. Dre, Snoop pushed to get Daz Dillinger on the song “Deeez Nuuuts.” He explained why during an interview with KXNG Crooked on the HipHopDX series Crook’s Corner.
“I wanted [Daz] on this song because I liked his voice,” Snoop recalled. “I’m like, ‘Dre, this nigga voice, it’s hard cuz…you got to put him on the song.”

In a recent conversation with DX, Mozzy spoke about the love he has for his fans. When he released his track “Shine’n For Diamond,” his listeners supported him so much he had to give back.

DX’s Editor-In-Chief Trent Clark caught up with Trizzy Track, who recently went viral after catching the attention of Meek Mill on social media. The producer detailed his recent turn of good fortune.
“We just pretty much been – soon as the video went viral and stuff like that and retweeted, commented on, tweeted and stuff like that. I had got an inbox on Twitter. I was like pretty much just telling him time to work, he told me send him some stuff and go from there,” Trizzy said. “I pretty much got whatever he wanna rock with it’s gonna get back to me but you know, we working.”
