With plenty of rappers making headlines for illegal activity this year, it seems that this time, Snoop Dogg is innocent.
Earlier reports stated that the West Coast vet was arrested in Sweden surrounding the possession of drugs.

In Sweden, it’s also illegal to have banned substances in your system.
Reports
of the alleged arrest hit the net a couple days ago after the rapper
and a female companion were detained and questioned at an airport. Snoop’s publicist has since put out a statement denouncing the arrest and the false
media reports.

“Contrary to erroneous press reports, Snoop Dogg was not arrested in Sweden ,” the statement says. “He
was questioned and released with no charges filed. He is excited to
continue his successful co-headlining European tour with Diddy.”
According to an EUR web report, Snoop was suspected of being under the influence after police observed his eyes and several of his movements.

at his eyes or his movements. (Police) suspected that he had taken
drugs,”

Brannlund
of the Ostermalm police says of the incident.      
Though Snoop escaped jail time, he may have seen the last of Swedish police.

“He underwent some tests that will now be sent away for analysis,”Brannlund continues. “In two to three weeks, we’ll know if he was on something.”
If found to be under the influence of an illegal substance, Tha Doggfather could face a hefty fine.
