“I’m the hottest artist in America,” he says. “My rate right now for shows is $100,000. Nothing under $100,000. So they’re like we got these 15 days for you. These dirty ass booking agents are like, ‘Yo, we have $60,000 for this that and the third, right? I’m like, ‘Yo, why so low?’ ‘Listen Tekashi, we’re cleaning up your name right now. These venues are scared of you.’”

“I was at Q-Tip’s house and I linked with him because we sampled him on the first project,” he recalled. “He fucks with my music and says we have the same vocal inflections and all that shit. We get along and shit.

“Q-Tip and Leo are like best friends and we was just sitting there [at his house] listening to DiCaprio 2 and he holds his phone in the air and he starts recording a video and was like, ‘Yo, I’m sitting here with J.I.D, he’s a really big fan of your movies.’ Then he put the camera on me and I was like, ‘I’m a big fan.’ Bro texts right back like, ‘Oh my God, I’ma check it out’ and then he asks if I was coming to his party or something like that because it was his birthday.”

“LeBron James is a person that goes outside of himself,” Chuck told HipHopDX. “He’s a voice for the voiceless like Craig Hodges who has done great gestures on pushing the sports forward into some kind of social discussion. James was actually told to ‘Shut Up and Dribble’ by a journalist on Fox TV [Fox News’ Laura Ingraham]. Basically, ‘We don’t need to hear your opinion about society and life and what you think about the administration.’

“It was a no-brainer being able to be commissioned to do the music score for this job. Not only am I a fan of LeBron James, but I admire the stance that he speaks up for those that don’t have as much of a voice as he has.”

“I don’t think I would be available for that,” the former host said. “God bless ’em man, you know what I’m sayin’. I know they probably will with another host or whatever. People come up and talk to me about that all the time, man.”
