Whether one was in the club or walking the strip, Las Vegas was the place to be last week for All Star Weekend, the NBA’s biggest show.
The
weekend almost drew the honor of being one of few to go off with no
major incidents. That is, no major incidents until Sunday night.

All
Star Weekend ended with gun fire erupt in two separate incidents. Four
people were shot, three of which remain in critical condition.

“After four or five days when people were out on the town partying, getting little sleep, tempers flare, and
people get angry,”
Jose Montoya of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department tells the Las Vegas Review Journal.
“That’s probably why we saw this at the end of the weekend rather than the beginning.”

The worst of the two incidents occurred at Minxx,
a local strip club. Three people were shot after several patrons were
escorted out after a physical altercation. One club worker took a
bullet to the chest, another to the arm and leg and a female attendee

With the amount of celebrities in the shooting, local media as well as police wasted no time dropping names behind the incident.
NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones of the Tennessee Titans was said to have been involved in the incident. Those reports remain unconfirmed.

Jones’ agent, Michael Huyghue of Axcess Sports & Entertainment, dismissed the allegations and says he knows nothing of a police investigation involving his client.
Huyghue says that Jones is an “an easy target for people to say he’s involved in this kind of thing,” due to past run ins with the law.
