It’s been nearly four months since XXXTENTACION was fatally shot. Over the past few months, the police have arrested and charged four suspects.
On Wednesday (October 10), a judge reportedly granted suspect Dedrick D. Williams $10,000 to hire an investigator. The state of Florida will provide the money. According to The Blast, Williams wants to determine if the evidence investigators have gathered proves he committed a crime.
Williams explained to the judge he didn’t have the money to hire a private investigator himself, but his lawyer found one who would help build a defense by interviewing and tracking witnesses.
Williams was also granted another $20,000 in order to hire an electronic evidence expert to look into the cell tower analysis as well as computer and cell phone forensics.
