After dropping the single October 26, Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have returned with a visual for their “MotorSport” collaboration.

Despite some controversy surrounding the track — Joe Budden helped put forward a theory that Cardi B was added without Minaj’s knowledge — Minaj took to Twitter to set the record straight.

“I was on the song w/Quavo,” she wrote in a since-deleted post. “No one else was on it. He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said “ok let’s do it”. The end,” she said, “Migos weren’t even on it yet. Just Quavo. The conspiracy theories r just so tired. Relax. Breathe. Imagine me not knowing who on a song w/me.”

The single has since been certified gold by the RIAA.

After Apple Music’s Head of Artist Curation Carl Chery tweeted, “The internet is going to break tomorrow night” on Wednesday (October 25), Hip Hop fans started speculating about what exactly that would be. In fact, it had Reddit’s Hip Hop Heads thread running wild with countless guesses.

According to Angela Yee, the mystery has been solved —  Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have joined forces for a new track, something The Breakfast Club host confirmed via Twitter.

“The #migos are previewing a new song with @nickiminaj and @iamcardib right now! #powerhouseNYC,” Yee wrote.

Although the song wasn’t immediately available, Black Barbie’s loyal legion of fans also posted a clip of the song on Twitter, which was taken from Migos’ performance at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn. The caption from @MinajSociety read, “VIDEO: Migos previews their new song with @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib at #PowerhouseNYC.”

Considering Offset of Migos is currently dating Cardi, the connection makes sense, although many fans were unimpressed with the news. One Reddit user wrote, “Is this it…. I mean this could be really good but I had such high hopes.”
