Pittsburgh rhymer Wiz Khalifa has been laying relatively low as of late, but with a recent social media post he revealed that new music is on the way.
“Albums done. Bout to drop some new music very soon. #GANG,” Wiz Khalifa wrote in the caption to a photo of himself lighting up in what appears to be a studio.
Although Wiz’s last solo studio release came in 2014 with Blacc Hollywood, he had a monster hit in 2015 thanks to the Furious 7 soundtrack record, “See You Again.”
Featuring Jersey crooner Charlie Puth, the song peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and stayed at the top for 12 non-consecutive weeks. The record has also gone 9x-platinum, and is currently the second most-watched video on YouTube with 3.1 billion views.
