Bronx, NY veteran and underground favorite C-Rayz Walz is back with another LP this fall. But after three straight releases on Definitive Jux, C-Rayz will release 1975 Return of the Beast via the relatively unknown Draft Records. Also of note is that Ill Bill and the notorious Uncle Howie will executive produce the project. Look for it on Halloween along with Dirty Urine from Stronghold bretheren Bad Seed, whose LP features production from Emile, Nottz, Midi Mafia and Rick Rock

Its no secret that Diddy has enlisted some of hip-hop’s finest to pen his upcoming album Press Play. It has certainly raised some eyebrows to imagine Puff spitting lyrics penned by the likes of Common, Black Thought, Talib Kweli and Pharoahe Monch. Afterall, he has never been one on the conscious tip. In particular, Pharoahe Monch raised the most curiousity as his rhymes are written to be delivered with his inimitable style. The Future, a Havoc produced track has leaked from Diddy‘s album, and if it isn’t the most blatantly obvious ghostwriting in the history of music I don’t know what is.
