It is more than just an honor and a privilege to
open a show for Rakim, regarded by
many as the greatest emcee of all-time, it is a tremendous opportunity. The R is looking for opening acts in
three cities on his current tour; The House of Blues, Chicago on Sept. 17th,
Eleven50, Atlanta on Sept.
28 and The 930 Club, Washington,
D.C. on Sep 30th.
The god emcee will be hand picking the winner, not his management or
someone from his crew. To be considered, submit their Myspace URL’s and YouTube
links to rakim@brooklynbodega.com
. Any emails with audio and video attachments will
be unopened and deleted.
