With back-to-back #1 albums, a nationwide arena tour with Drake and his own Freebandz label, we all know Future is bringing in the dough. And he put his wealth on full display last night during a studio session with DJ Khaled. The two were working on Khaled’s Grateful album and in one of the posts, the We The Best boss claims that the Atlanta star brought $1 million in cash to the studio. Major bag alert indeed.
The two have collaborated plenty in the past, including on “I Got the Keys” with Jay Z and “Hold You Down” with Jeremih, Chris Brown and August Alsina. The Miami mogul even premiered Future’s EVOL album on his We The Best Radio show.
Khaled shared more pictures of the session, announcing “Yes the @future vocals is in a lot of vocals !!! On everything !! Dont play wit me I let 100 anthems go !!!!!”
DJ Khaled’s infant son, Asahd, is serving as executive producer of Grateful, which was announced with a press conference featuring Chance The Rapper and Puff Daddy. He’s already released “Shining” with Beyoncé and Jay Z.
