Phoenix-based rapper Trap House has literally given a voice to the voiceless after teaming up with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) to help a local teen.

The teen, 17-year-old Isaiah Acosta, was born without a jaw and is mute due to a condition called situs inversus. Despite his inability to speak, Acosta just dropped his first record thanks to the assistance of Trap House and CMN.

Trap House offers his vocals for the record, titled “Oxygen To Fly,” which was written entirely by Acosta.

The song serves as an ode to the trials and tribulations the teen has gone through in his 17 years. On the inspiring track, Acosta expresses his unwavering optimism and recalls defeating bullies.

“I don’t care what the people say / I don’t ever say ‘can’t’ or ‘won’t’ / Had a dream I rapped the other day / Just accept me for my differences, everybody gonna hear my voice,” Trap House raps on “Oxygen To Fly.”

In addition to his work behind the pen, Acosta also serves as an advocate for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital and an ambassador for CMN.

In an Instagram post uploaded last year, Trap House commented on his experience working with the talented teen.

“Definitely an honor to work with @xvx_6 he has much to say and plenty of heart. I respect that 100%,” the rapper wrote in the caption to a photo with Acosta.
