This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, Bruno Mars knocks Rae Sremmurd off the top, several J. Cole singles land in the Top 20, and “Starboy” by The Weeknd ft. Daft Punk starts to fall.
Bruno Mars Takes Top Spot
After four weeks of hovering, Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” has taken away the number one spot from Rae Sremmurd. The hit saw a 39% increase in sales, selling a total of 72,027 records for the week ending December 15. “Black Beatles” continues to decline, selling 13% fewer records this week.
J. Cole Breaks The Top 20 … Five Times
Three J. Cole songs from 4 Your Eyez Only entered the R&B/Hip Hop single sales Top 20 this week, joining “False Prophets” and “Everybody Dies.” False Prophets has risen from #12 to #8, and Deja Vu has landed at #7. “Neighbors” (#14) and “Immortal” (#16) also feature.
