Juelz Santana is being chased by authorities in New Jersey after the rapper reportedly failed to keep up with his child support payments, according to TMZ.

Citing legal documents, the publication says that the Harlem, New York rapper —born LaRon James — owes nearly $30,000 to the mother of his 13-year-old son, LaRon Jr.

Back in 2013, Juelz Santana was ordered to pay $1,800 per month. However, the authorities in New Jersey say that he’s failed to keep up with the payments, which now total $28,491.32.

A warrant is out calling for the rapper’s arrest. Juelz’s next payment is due on December 16.

After the news broke, Juelz took to Twitter to condemn the reports.

This isn’t the first time that Juelz Santana has had a run-in with the law. In June 2015, he and Jim Jones headed to Canada to perform but were turned away at the border because of their arrest history. In January 2013, Santana was sentenced to two years probation for threatening his neighbor.
