There is nothing quite like riding in your car with the windows down, system up and playing that brand new CD. Thankfully, there is plenty to look forward to. Here is what you can look out for:

Of course the most hyped is Lupe Fiasco’s debut Food & Liquor out on his own 1st & 15th via Atlantic on June 27. Fellow Chi-Town native and K. West collaborator Rhymefest will release his long delayed debut Blue Collar on July 11.

The following week will see the releases of a new Boot Camp Clik album and the sophomore set from Lloyd Banks. The third BCC crew album will feature production from the likes of Pete Rock, Large Professor, 9th Wonder, Coptic, Marco Polo and of course Da Beatminerz.

Meanwhile Lloyd Banks has a lot riding on his back with Rotten Apple. With the last two G-Unit albums (Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep), flopping, it’ll be up to Banks to get the ball rolling again.
