In a shocking turn of events in the soap opera known as New York’s radio wars, former Power 105 jock, Star was arrested today. According to a report on Real Hip Hop’s web site, Star has been charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
The arrest comes just days after Star’s termination from Power, stemming from a racially and sexually charged rant about Hot 97’s DJ Envy’s wife and daughter.
Star made several explicit remarks about the two, and alluded to sexually molesting the child and stating that he had knowledge of less than flattering details of Envy’s wife’s past.
According to reports, Star apologized, via his lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, but also notes that he too was threatened by DJ Envy.

In an article written by Black Electorate’s Cedric Muhammad, Star calls the on air spat between Envy and himself, “Nigger nonsense.”
Star also sounds off on Clear Channel and his radio career and is gearing up for, perhaps a legal battle.
“Rather than starting to point fingers, just know that the legal team is gearing up,” he says.
