While some rappers only talk about giving back to the hood, Harlem legend Cam’ron proved this weekend that he really takes that type of thing seriously.
The 40-year-old Dipset leader posted a video to his Instagram announcing that he’d be delivering a helluva lot of his sneaker collection that were iced in storage to various locations in Harlem, Manhattan.
“In storage man… All these fuckin’ sneakers, man. So I’mma give ’em out of storage man, this is ridiculous. There’s gotta be like 1,500 or 1,600 pairs of sneakers in here, man.”
Killa Cam started the Lord’s work at the basketball court on 143rd St and 5th Avenue at 8pm before spreading the wealth even further, taking some of the shoes to 141st and 5th.

Cam’ron documented the charitable move on his Instagram page, posting videos of himself in his own sneaker storage room before showing himself in conversation with a lady from the Dominican Republic who was picking up some shoes for her family.
Check out the videos below. It’s pretty slick to a rap star giving both sneakerheads and the less fortunate more choice than their local Foot Locker.
