2006 hasn’t been a good year for one of hip-hop’s fastest growing hip-hop cities. After losing their legendary producer in J Dilla, D-12’s Proof was killed by gunfire last week. Both the deceased will appear on Barak Records upcoming Dirty District Vol.3 which will come out on June 6th (6-6-06 for those keeping score).
Dirty District Vol. 3 is produced in its entirety by the perhaps the successor of Dilla, Young RJ. He has previously worked with Kurupt, Proofand Slum Village, for whom he has produced the bulk of their last three albums. Check out the tracklisting below for guest appearances:
