Lil Wayne turns 34 today (September 27) and the man who he’s been in a year-long legal battle over his career, Birdman, wished him a happy birthday despite the negativity surrounding their relationship.

While Lil Wayne has been on his “Fuck Cash Money” campaign against his former father figure, it appears that Baby isn’t taking the shots personally (publically, at least) and still has love for the rapper who helped him put Cash Money Records on the map.

Lil Wayne accuses Birdman of allegedly robbed him blind of $70 million dollars and letting Tyga out of his Young Money contract without his approval.

Weezy’s first born daughter, Reginae Carter, wished him a very happy birthday in a warm Instagram post to celebrate.

The note is a breath of fresh air considering the onslaught of negative news surrounding the rapper who threatened to retire from the rap game in the battle to regain his freedom from Birdman’s claws.

“Happy birthday to my father,” Reginae penned under a throwback picture of her dad. “Lawd this man swear he not old. I love this man so much ! I can tell him anything without being judged ! Thank you for always loving me. Thank you for saying yes when my mom says no. Thank you for telling me I’m beautiful everyday . God , thank you for blessing me with this Man ! God has given us so many blessings and he will continue to do so ! I love you daddy. Enjoy your day Old man.”

Of course, the internet has partaken in the celebration of Weezy’s 34th birth year with plenty of happy birthday tweets written just for the New Orleans rapper. Mother to Reginae and ex-wife of Lil Wayne, Toya Wright, also wished a happy birthday to her day one.
