Details are beginning to surface about Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons’ split and apparently, the only people surprised are the public.
“We’ve been on the rocks for 15 years,”Russell said of the marriage.
An insider told the New York Post that the pair hardly saw each other and stayed on opposite ends of their New Jersey home.
“Their bedrooms are so far apart, they never saw each other anyway.”

Another Post source claims that it was Kimora who initiated the split because of her celebrity status.
“Baby Phat is now making more money than Phat Farm. She had the talk show. She had the magazine profiles. She’s bigger than Russell now. She doesn’t need him anymore.”
As DX previously reported, the two will continue to work together and will remain friends. Russell also says he plans to move out of the home and doesn’t expect money to be an issue during the divorce
While the news is new to us, both seem to have moved on and are said to be dating again. Russell is said to be paired with model Denise Vasi and Kimora was spotted in New York partying with Knicks guard Stephon Marbury.
