After seven years of marriage, Hip Hop’s former power couple, Russell and Kimora Simmons are ending their marriage according to Russell’s agent.
Don’t look for any Maury or Jerry Springer moments with this break up, the couple is keeping it civil.
“Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other,” Simmons said in a statement issued by his agent.
Russell recently denied reports that the couple were splitting up, but now says that the two have been separated for some time, but continued to live together.

While the marriage is ending, the pair will continue to do business with each other.
“We will … continue to work side by side on a daily basis as partners in all of our businesses,” he said.
The two married in 1998 after meeting during New York Fashion Week.
