In a wacky piece of news, pilots taking off from Miami International Airport are getting interference from a pirate hip-hop radio station that are coming though the communications in the control tower. The music comes from a station called Da Streetz. “It’s intermittent. Not all day, everyday,” said Kathleen Bergen, a Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman. “But clear communication between air control and the pilots is a critical part of flying.” Officials traced the signals to an antenna at a warehouse only to find some computers and a CD player.
