Saturday night at the incredible Paid Dues Festival (review of the show coming soon), Murs announced the line up for this years Rock The Bells Festival. The show, put on by Guerilla Union, will feature the likes of the Living Legends, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and the Wu-Tang Clan. There are others on the bill but my alcohol consumption erased them from my memory…
Spoke with Brother Ali after his always incredible set and he told me a thing or two about his upcoming LP The Undisputed Truth which will drop in August on Rhymesayers. “It ain’t Shadows, everyone is gonna say that. It’s real different, Abt really took it in a different direction and its a lot more serious than anything else I’ve done…a lot more serious.” Following the album he will headline his first tour.
