Curtis Snow speaks out following police standoff, earlier this month.

Curtis Snow, star of the popular, docu-drama Snow On The Bluff, had the opportunity to share his take on the alleged police standoff that led to his arrest, days ago. In his video, Snow encouraged fans not to believe the hype and referred to the news’ take on the encounter as “bullshit.”

He then explained that those who dropped in at his grandfather’s funeral were disrespectful about a petty warrant.

“All that bullshit y’all been seeing in the news, man,” Curtis Snow said. “Don’t believe that hype. I’m serious. I’m here to tell the real true story, man. Them folks busted in my granddaddy’s funeral on some hater ass shit. Total disrespect, about a little ass warrant. And I was [distraught] because as the last god damn male in my family, you know, who [I] looked up to. That was my last granddad. I just lost my other granddad six months ago. And god dammit you know, I just got a little emotional with that bullshit.”

Snow then suggested that reports of guns and hostages being involved in the incident, were completely untrue.

“That was some bullshit that they saying,” he said. “All that about I had a gun, all that about a hostage and all that shit. Hell nah, that’s my family church. I was baptized at that church, and god dammit I’ve got the utmost respect for that church, the preachers, my granddad, my whole family. I would have never did no dumb shit to have no gun at no church. Don’t believe none of that hype. Because I’m telling you the real truth.”
