A Grammy Award-winning producer is claiming that Iggy Azalea took advantage of him to get in the rap game and then didn’t pay him after she got her big break with Def Jam. So now Jon Jon Traxx is suing Azalea for $1.5 million, TMZ reports.
Traxx, who has worked with Beyonce, Keyshia Cole and Lecrae, says that he inked a recording contract with the “Fancy” rapper in 2009. For the next two years, he got her career off the ground by helping her network, coordinate shows and getting her a stylist.
When Azalea signed with Def Jam in 2013, the two agreed to part ways and part of their agreement to end their contract was that the Atlanta producer would continue to receive compensation. He says she has not paid him accordingly and is taking her to court.
