Leaving Comedy Central can’t stop Dave Chappelle’s movement. On the heels of his departure from the network comes Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, which hits theatres March 3.

The film features Chappelle doing what he does best, stand up comedy. In addition to the free style stand up, there will be several performances from Kanye West, Erykah Badu, dead prez, Jill Scott and The Roots, among others.

Kool G. Rap and Mos Def also make appearances as well.

In other Chappelle related news, the comedian will appear on Oprah this Friday. The pre taped interview will see Chappelle explain a lot of what’s been going on with him lately. Topics include why he walked away from his $50 million dollar deal with Comedy Central and his trip to South Africa.
