The chain of hip hop artists living out their music got a little longer recently. Crunchy Black of Memphis trio Three 6 Mafia has been accused of threatening the life of a Memphis DJ.
In addition to the threats, Black is also suspected of being involved in a shooting relating to the same DJ.
According to an article on soundslam.com, Hot 107 personality Lil’ Larry was approached by the rapper at a club following a Project Pat concert. The two are said to have engaged in a verbal altercation, which included claims that the DJ tried to “stifle” the event.
It also said that Black issued death threats to Lil’ Larry as well.

In addition to the death threats, the DJ is also the suspected target of a shooting that occurred January 24 at the Flinn Broadcasting office. Flinn is home to Hot 107. The station was hit with at least 15 shots. No one was injured in the shooting.
As of press time, no arrests have been made.
