Bun B is doing all that he can to help the people of Houston get through the devastating flash flooding that hit the region Monday (April 18).

The Trill OGacted alongside the Houston Fire Department, utilizing his Instagram as a point of reference to direct those in need to where they could get assistance or where supplies could be donated. He also had Spanish speakers available if needed.

Both the city and Bun B encouraged residents to stay home if it was safe.

“All people looking for shelter come to Campbell center,” Bun captioned beneath his Instagram video displaying the location folks could go to for shelter. “They’re accepting people and hot food only. Resources(water, clothes, etc) should be sent to Williams Middle School. Buses are still transporting people from Greenspoint mall though. If you need transportation to shelter go to Greenspoint mall if you can’t get to the Campbell Center.”

Five people were found dead inside submerged vehicles, officials reported to CNN. The historic rain fall is expected to continue through late Tuesday (April 19) evening.

Many families have already evacuated the area with hundreds more being rescued. The surging waters engulfed homes and drowned freeways, knocking out the electricity to thousands of residences and businesses.

The UGK rapper also posted a video of a father to six children pleading for support because they have nowhere to go.

Harris County Judge Ed Emmett estimates that over 240 billion gallons of rain has poured over the city of Houston, calling it the most significant flood since Tropical Storm Allison in 2001.
