The fast rapping emcee has issued a statement on the incident, vowing to return to the game like the incident never happened. “I want to thank all of my fans and supporters for checking in on my health. I was the victim of a hit and run car accident this morning but I am home resting comfortably as per the guidance of my doctor. The grind does not stop, as I will shortly be back in front of my fans, giving them the energetic performances they have come to expect from me. “

Pimp C, half of southern duo UGK is a free man and hip hop’s ice man, Paul Wall couldn’t be happier about it. “I couldn’t wait,” he told MTV.com. “I was talking to his momma all week anticipating his arrival. Everybody I talk to is like, ‘Yeah, I got a song for him.’ So he’s gonna be one of the most talked-about artists of 2006. He’s gonna be on so many different artists’ records. A lot of people been waiting for his music. He’s been gone for few years now, they wanna hear some new music from him. Being his number-one fan, I can’t wait.”

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas ended with a bang Friday night. As an added bonus to the Monster Retailer Awards which was held at the Paris Ballroom in the Paris hotel, show attendees were treated to a performance by living legend Stevie Wonder.
