In addition to Foxy Brown receiving the key to Brooklyn, rappers Diggy Simmons and Joey Bada$$ were also celebrated during the event. Both artists were honored as Leaders Of Tomorrow.

“Just went to the borough hall in Brooklyn in the Appellate court to receive the Award of being a leader of tomorrow this Black History Month… So honored and inspired to be amongst the other honorees that were black leaders in the justice system, in the community, Supreme Court judges and artists. Thank you @bishop_lamor_whitehead for the citation and experience!!,” Diggy Simmons wrote in an Instagram post, which featured video from the event.
