At his always amusing website (www.zonesite.net), producer/emcee J-Zone gave an update regarding his upcoming project with like-minded producer/emcee Celph-Titled. The duo, who have dubbed themselves the Bo$$ Hog Barbarian$, have collaborated on such hilariously ig’nant tracks such as Spoiled Rotten and Eatadiccup. Says Captain Back$lap; “No more ‘getting close’, ‘finishing touches’ or ‘just about’. J-Zone & Celph Titled’s Bo$$ Hog Barbarian$ album is now 100% done, mixed and hogged out. Titled ‘Every Hog Has It’s Day’, the album drops in March on the Hog$’ own label, Mt. Kill-A-Ho/Hog Cabin Ent., and the first single will be ‘$teady $mobbin” b/w ‘Celph Destruction’, which drops in late January. Production for the album will be handled by J-Zone and Celph Titled, with one beat from Da Beatminerz. Special guests? None. Hogs don’t need em, unless you include a lil crooning from Dick $tallion, the Pharrell of independent rap.”

If the Jesus Walks controversy wasn’t good enough press for Rhymefest (who of course co-wrote and brought the concept of the song to Ye),he is continuing to make waves with a slew of ill tracks leaking to the net. Earlier this year there was his Kanye collab Brand New that was believed to be for Ye’s album at the time. Last month an absolute classic hit my ears, Build You Up featuring ODB who just lets loose on the chorus, crooning the legendary song by The Foundations. Lastly, new track produced by Just Blaze called Dynomite is making its rounds. Blue Collar, which is due in early 06, should be dope.
