A representative for DMX says that the rapper’s court date in his ongoing child support case was changed prior to DMX’s Las Vegas performance Sunday (December 13), TMZ reports.
An arrest warrant for the rapper was issued after DMX reportedly missed a hearing scheduled for yesterday (December 14).
X’s legal team is reaching out to the judge and believes the arrest warrant will be lifted.

Mount Vernon, New York rapper DMX has found himself in legal trouble yet again. He was hit with an arrest warrant after missing court appearance.
According to Bossip, X missed his court date on Monday (December 14), and as a result the judge in the matter issued an arrest warrant.
DMX’s lawyer revealed that the lyricist, who appeared at DMXmas in Las Vegas on December 13, mixed up the dates for his court appearance.
During his scheduled court appearance, which was to be a hearing on paying back child support to his ex-wife, Tashera Simmons, DMX was to reveal all of his assets. Simmons revealed that she doesn’t want to see the rapper in jail, but hopes he does take care of his responsibilities.

“I just want him to own up to his responsibilities, so I can move on, so we can move forward,” Simmons said while speaking with Bossip. “I don’t want to see him in jail. I want him to be an adult so we can move on. This is not a priority. There’s always an excuse.”
The judge offered a less flowery statement while speaking on DMX being a no-show.
“It’s going to be really hard to perform at the Westchester County Jail,” the judge said, according to Bossip. “[DMX] sat here at the table and said, ‘If you let me go, I’m coming back.’ Well, he ain’t here. It’ll be interesting to see if TSA picks him up on a warrant.”
