Few groups can claim the quality of catalogue that left coast luminaries Tash, J-Ro and E-Swift can. Since getting the party started in 1993 with their seminal debut “21 & Over,”Tha Alkaholiks have been the staple of drunken, party music with hits like Daamn! and Hip-Hop Drunkies with the late ODB.

But Tha Liks have been MIA for a minute now, with their last album, “X.O. Experience,” coming in the summer of 2000. The Cali trio will return in the winter of 2006 with their fifth and final album titled “Firewater”. It will be released on Waxploitation/KOCH Records.

“We were party animals for over a decade. Times are changing. We’ll still get together once in a while to do a song here and a song there…but this is going to be it as far as albums go,”Tash said of the reason for the last album.

J-Ro added, “We all have different goals and things we want as individuals. It’s important to us to move forward and find new challenges.”
