Raven Sorvino has been one of the best female up-and-coming rappers on the West Coast over the past few years and has been releasing quality projects at a steady pace.

Recently sitting down with HipHopDX Senior Features Writer Ural Garrett, the Texas native and current Leimert Park transplant spoke about working with female rap legend Gangsta Boo for her forthcoming album.

“It’s so much I can’t even speak on it ’cause I don’t have any words,” she said via a segment of today’s DX Daily. “It was just like, ‘I’m in the studio with Gangsta Boo.’ We actually recorded the song in the studio together. It wasn’t like I did my verse and sent it to her. She actually came down and we collabbed together as far as writing our verses and the hook was already there but yeah.”

Raven Sorvino also talked about her forthcoming project Pretty Pink, which features all female artists.
