Nas’ latest protégé Quan, who made noise on his mentor’s single ”Just A Moment” was arrested this past Tuesday on a variety of charges.
The rapper, whose real name is Clifford Peacock, was staying in a motel in Hampton, Virginia when complaints of marijuana smoke brought a couple of patrolmen to his room.
According to reports, Peacock put up no fight and let the officers enter his room.
Quan was quickly caught by the officer and allegedly attacked him, further resisting arrest.

Three other suspects were said to have fled the scene when the other officer went to help out his partner. Quan was holding an estimated $19 G’s, a small bag of weed, three guns and several cell phones.
He is charged with possession of marijuana, being a felon in possession of a handgun, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
